Before finding my passion in graphic and web design, I studied Computer Games Art BA (Hons) for a year at Anglia Ruskin University. While it is not my main choice of work, I have the experience and knowledge to work with various professional 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine.
Project 1: Adventurer's First Dagger
Brief: Create a 3D model of an object using Autodesk Maya based on a selected reference image.
This was the first project I undertook using Autodesk Maya, so my focus was mastering the basics of 3D modeling. This was the reason I chose this reference image in particular, as it contains a variety of textures and shapes that would each require different modeling techniques, such as the wooden blade, the cloth handle, the gemstone, and the vines. I found that this project succeeded in helping me to learn the basics of the software, as I developed various techniques of working, and as a result, now understand how to use Autodesk Maya.

Project 2: The Master Sword (The Legend Of Zelda)
Brief: Create a 3D model of an object using ZBrush.
This project had a similar focus as the first, as my main goal was to learn the basics of ZBrush. For this project, I chose a more complicated shape as I had an understanding of 3D modeling principles at this point. While learning ZBrush required understanding different techniques, I was able to produce a high-quality 3D model by the end of the project.
